Conversation over the Qalyan

I was invited to a Persian celebration and, with all my great cameras and lenses that I left at home, I had only BlackBerry to capture the moment.

Two men smoking Qalyan and dancing party on the background.
Qalyan is a traditional way of smoking fine tobacco in Iran. But it is more than just another way to inhale the nicotine. It is about quality time to relax, to talk and to share.  It is somewhat similar to a cigar smoking tradition in the west and, by the way, women are welcome as well.

Lots of fine food, music, dancing and discussions. Great people and culture.
Thanks for dropping by,
